Our Approach

We believe in a client-centered approach to therapy, where the focus is on the unique needs and goals of each individual. We are are a group of multiple counsellors each with their own expertise to help support a variety of concerns. At Citrus we are passionate to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions.

Our aim is to help empower clients to embark on their journey towards personal growth and healing. Each of the counsellors who use our space are dedicated to promoting a healthy mindset and offering support tailored to the specific requirements of each client.​

We offer a wide range of counselling services to address various mental health concerns.

This is dependant on the counsellors competency but can include:

Depression, Anxiety, Relationship difficulties, 

Life transitions, Self-esteem issues, Grief, Loss,

Eating disorders, OCD traits, ADHD traits, Trauma, Career challenges, Academic stress, Health concerns, Pain and Stress management, Spirituality, Gender identity, LGBTQ+,

and other concerns.

Our goal is to ensure ease of access and comprehensive support for every individual seeking help.

The Location

Our face to face sessions are held at our Eastleigh branch, where we have five counselling rooms.

These rooms are rented out to screened counsellors if the values of their private practice aligns with ours.

We are conveniently located in the heart of Eastleigh, which is accessible by junction 5 of the M27 and junction 12 / 13 on the M3. There are multiple hassle-free parking options with 2-hour free parking on surrounding roads or pay and display parking in the Swan Centre. If you prefer to travel by public transport, Eastleigh Railway Station and bus services are only 500 metres away, roughly an 8 min walk.

Room 1

Teal Room

This room is based closest to the main hall. As the room is on the first floor, it is easily accessible for those with more limited mobility and is closer to the downstairs bathroom.

Room 2

Green Room

Nature has been shown to have beneficial impacts on peoples mental health, so why not try and bring some nature inside with us. The large window allows for lots of natural light to show of the leafy green accent wall.

Room 3

Pink Room

In between rooms 2 and 4 is the pink room. Pale pink painted walls to compliment the colours flooding in from the west facing window as the sun descends.

Room 4

Blue Room

Unfortunately this room is currently unavailable for use, however will soon be available to a new member of our team. This room was intended to sooth clients with the decoration of dark blues landscapes coupled with calming cream furniture.

Room 5

Yellow Room

This room is also downstairs on the main floor. The sunrise colours or burnt oranges and warm yellows are beneficial for promoting a more positive environment.

Our Team

All counsellors within our team adhere to a professional body, majority are members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to the Ethical framework. In addition to having a Diploma of Higher Education of Counselling, in their chosen modality.

​Each have agreed to ensure confidentiality of client information in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and to attend a minimum of 1.5 hours of supervision per month.

 

The minimum for a one-to-one counselling session costs £50 per hour. Depending on the counsellor, you can either pay before you attend each session, or be invoiced to be paid by the end of the month. It is important to find the counsellor that is compatible with you. Please feel free to contact us directly with what help you are seeking and we can direct you to those most suited to your needs.
